Very hardy, fast growing, deciduous, drought resistant, medium to large tree with yellow to red autumn colors. It has whitish puffball fragrant flowers in early summer followed by four-winged seeds. The flowers attract both birds and insects. This stately tree makes a wonderful avenue tree with its lovely shape and beautiful bark or plant as a single specimen shade tree. Plant in sun or semi-shade. Size up to 12m. S.A. No. 536.
Sowing instructions: Sow seeds in summer. Seeds take 15 days to start germinate.
