Commiphora incisa (1 seed) Burseraceae. It is a shrub or small tree, rarely more than 3 m tall, with smooth, yellowish or grayish brown, peeling bark and a spreading crown of long, stiff, spiny branches with small, serrated leaves. The rubbery resin known as Myrrh contains an essential oil that is used in perfumes. Sowing: Seed should be sown in spring or during summer, in a well-drained seedling mix, and need only be covered lightly with the sowing mix, clean coarse sand or milled bark.
