Commiphora schimperi (price per 2 seeds) Shrub or small tree. Bark dark green to yellowish-green flaking in large golden-brown to yellowish strips; branches spine-tipped. Leaves clustered on small lateral branchlets, 3-foliolate or rarely imparipinnate with 2-4 pairs leaflets. Sowing: Seed should be sown in spring or during summer, in a well-drained seedling mix, and need only be covered lightly with the sowing mix, clean coarse sand or milled bark. The trays should be kept moist in a warm but shaded position. Locality: Ex Hort. Harvest: December 2023
