Its erect, branching stem is covered with a yellowish-green papery bark and, if pruned regularly, can become a bonsai. It has lance-shaped leaves, green and with serrated edges. It produces a particular resin (myrrh) which is used to create an essential oil for perfumes.
Sowing instructions: Sow seeds in summer in a well drained medium.
