It produces large yellow flowers with many narrow petals. Petals have thin, tapered tips rather than the rounded tips of carpobrotus edulis. At the center of the flower are many thin, tangled stamens. The succulent leaves are also different, being generally rounded in cross-section rather than triangular, but flat or grooved on the upper surface.
Sowing instructions: Sow in trays, pots, etc of good seed compost in a propagator or warm place to maintain an optimum temperature of 20-25°C. Cover with peat or sand.
