Conophytum angelicae tetragonum

Conophytum angelicae tetragonum (Mesembryanthemaceae). It grows naturally in the Richtersveld. The square shape that gives it its name is evident and the ridges are more developed than in the type subspecies. The nocturnal flowers are scented. Sow in trays, pots, etc of good seed compost in a propagator or warm place to maintain an optimum temperature of 20-25°C. Cover with peat or sand. Locality: Oemsberg. Harvest: December 2022
