Sowing instructions:

When to Sow:

  • Spring to early summer (when temperatures are consistently warm)

  • Optimal for warm-climate growth and active season start

🌡️ Germination Conditions:

  • Temperature: 22–28°C (72–82°F)

  • Germination time: 2–6 weeks, sometimes longer

  • Bottom heat or heat mats can improve success

🪴 Seed Preparation (Optional):

  • Soak seeds in warm water for 12–24 hours before sowing
This softens the seed coat and encourages quicker germination

🌿 Sowing Steps:

  1. Prepare your soil mix:

    • Use a very well-draining mix—e.g.:
2 parts cactus/succulent mix + 1 part perlite or coarse sand

  2. Fill small pots or trays with the mix and moisten lightly.

  3. Sow seeds 1–1.5 cm (½ inch) deep.

  4. Place in a warm, bright location with indirect sunlight or under grow lights.

  5. Keep the soil lightly moist, not wet—mist if needed to avoid displacing seeds.
