Cotyledon tomentosa ssp. ladismithiensis (Crassulaceae) It freely branching succulent shrublet distinguished from the well-known Cotyledon tomentosa subsp. tomentosa, by comparing the leaves, the size of the plant and the orientation of the flower. The subsp. ladismithiensis, has stronger branches and may reach 1 m in height (including the inflorescence). The leaves are oblong-elliptic or almost cylindrical, yellow-green and tomentose with usually few sharp apical teeth. Sowing : Seed can be sown in spring, summer or autumn in frost-free areas. Seedlings can be watered with a fungicide to prevent damping off. Locality : Ladismith. Harvest : June 2020
