Common names: Wild Crocus, Geelvuurlelie.

This hardy, bulbous evergreen plant will grow in marshy or dry areas. It has bright green strap-shaped leaves. The tubular, bright yellow flowers carried on long stalks throughout the year make this a particularly appealing plant. A good garden subject and container plant. Size 10 to 30cm.
