Cyrtanthus mackenii RED

Common names: Ifafa Lily, Ifafalelie.

This hardy, evergreen bulb has dark green, narrow, strap-like leaves and heads of tubular flowers that appear in late winter to mid summer. The colours of the flowers range from white and yellow to pink and even red. This one is red. It prefers semi-shade and moist soil and is a beautiful addition to any garden. It also makes a wonderful container subject. Size 30cm.

Sowing instructions: Sow seeds in summer in a well drained medium.
