In late summer the tubers send up flowers and only when the flowers and seeds disappeared the leaves will emerge. The leaves are borne singly, one per tuber, and are dominated by a clump of antler-like outgrowths called enations.

Sowing instructions: Sow seeds in a well drained medium.
