Eucomis comosa (live bulb)

Eucomis comosa BULB – Slender Pineapple Flower (e), Krulkoppie (a) Very hardy, deciduous, bulbous plant with a rosette of attractive, broad, strap-like leaves with a pinkish cast. The spikes of sweetly scented, creamy-white or pink flowers with attractive purple ovaries are borne in early summer. It grows best in full sun in either damp or dry spots. An excellent garden plant. Used in traditional medicine. These bulbs are flowering size and about 7 – 10cm in diametre.
