Euphorbia caput-medusae (Euphorbiaceae). Medusa’s head (e). It has multiple serpent-like stems arising from a short caudex. Plant often exceeds 1 m in diametre. It is partly buried in the ground, covered with numerous crowded branches which are spineless.
