Euphorbia cooperi (live succulent)

Common names: Bushveld candelabra euphorbia(Eng.); noorsdoring (Afr.)

It is a spiny succulent tree with a naked grey/green trunk that can grow up to 3m. Branches (succulent leaves) are 4- to 6-winged. The spines form a spiky margin along each ridge on the branches. The yellow flowers appear in early summer.
