Common names: White freesia, wild freesia, ruikpypie.
It is deciduous; growing in autumn to winter, flowering in spring and dormant in summer. The flowers are showy white and have an exquisite perfume and is relative easy to grow.
Sowing instructions: Sow the seed in autumn in a well drained mixture. Fresh seed germinates readily in 4 to 5 weeks.
