Robust terrestrial herb, up to 1 m. Leaves born along the stem, linear-lanceolate with 3 distinct longitudinal veins. Inflorescence many-flowered. Bracts leaf-like as long as or longer than the pedicel and ovary, at least at the base of the inflorescence. Flowers green, white in the center. Sepals reflexed, ovate with a small pointed lobe on on side.
