Haemanthus barkerae (live bulb)

Common names: Hantam Bloodlily, paintbrush, powderpuff, poeierkwas, velskoenblaar.
It is a bulb that is indigenous to the winter rainfall areas of South Africa. The pink to red flowers appear in autumn after which the leaves will show. The lanceolate blue/green leaves are sometimes hairy on the edge and they have purply markings on the underside of the leaf.
