The plant grows 25 – 60cm high with sword shaped leaves. The flowers are orange to yellow and usually reddish on the outside. 4 to 10 flowers are normally packed to the end of the spike. They flower in spring to mid summer.
Sowing instructions: Seed can be sown in autumn in seed trays or pots. It is critical for the survival of the seedlings that the seeds are distributed thinly and good ventilation is maintained to prevent damping-off. Seeds can be treated with a fungicide prior to sowing.
