Jamesia americana (100 seeds)
Family: Hydraneaceae
Intensely fragrant and showy clusters of waxy, white flowers appear in late spring on this shrub, with the added interest of flaking, reddish-brown bark. Heavy-textured, green foliage transforms to brilliant orange and pink tones in the autumn.
Sowing instructions: Seed should be sown in spring or during summer, in a well-drained seedling mix, and need only be covered lightly with the sowing mix, clean coarse sand or milled bark. The trays should be kept moist in a warm but shaded position.
