Lapeirousia pyramidalis ssp regalis (10 seeds)

Lapeirousia pyramidalis ssp regalis (price per 10 seeds) (Purple Pyramid Kabong) It  is a corm-bearing geophyte which reaches a height of 50–100 mm. The linear leaves are strongly ribbed and horizontal. The inflorescence is a short, dense spike of small flowers, with a narrow cylindrical perianth tube, up to 40 mm long. They are whitish to pale bluish or tinged with pink and intensely fragrant. Sowing : Seed is sown in autumn, thinly, in deep (min. 10 cm) seed trays, to allow for root development. The soil medium should be well drained, a recommended mix being 2 parts sand : 2 parts compost : 1 part loam or equal parts sand and compost, and the seeds should be planted 3-4 mm deep, covered with clean sand and kept moist and lightly shaded.
