Now included in N. humilis. It is a deciduous bulbs, growing up to 400 mm tall with four to six leaves that can be dry or green at flowering. The 1-8 flowers are carried in a loose umbel, appear in autumn and vary from white to deep rose-pink, with darker pink, central keels.
