Orbea lutea ssp. vaga (Asclepiadaceae) It is a succulent perennial with green (in full sun are mottled maroon to purple), 4-angled usually erect stems. The stems form prominent angles with acute teeth. Flowers are mostly maroon, sometime variegated red and yellow with a much broad and short corolla segments. Sowing : Seed should be sown in spring or during summer, in a well-drained seedling mix, and need only be covered lightly with the sowing mix, clean coarse sand or milled bark to stop it from blowing away. The trays should be kept moist in a warm but shaded position. Locality: Grossbarman. Harvest: January 2024
