Orthanthera jasminiflora. Perennial shrub (that dies back annually and re-sprouts from a deep-seated rootstock) and prostrate creeper. The stems are up to 10 m long, flat on the ground, and are extensively spreading and sparsely branched. Leaves are in opposite pairs, egg-shaped, lance-shaped or linear, 20–60 × 3–25 mm, rough-textured, pubescent; petioles 2–15 mm long. Sowing : Sow seeds in summer in a well drained medium. Locality: Sandveld. Harvest: January 2021
