Raphiolepis delacourii (Rosaceae) This is an evergreen shrub with medium- sized, tough, leathery leaves that are dark green, sometimes changing to purple-black in cold winter conditions. Its pink or white blossoms appear in early spring and it should be clipped and pruned into shape immediately after the spring flowering. Sowing : Seed should be sown in spring or during summer, in a well-drained seedling mix, and need only be covered lightly with the sowing mix, clean coarse sand or milled bark. The trays should be kept moist in a warm but shaded position. Locality : Ex Hort. Harvest : June 2021
