Rhitidocaulon macrolobum (Asclepiadaceae) This plant is from South Western Arabia. Light to dark brown stems with a rough aged texture. Branching to form medium sized clusters. Keep in part to full shade. Water during the growing period and let dry out when it is dormant. The flowers are dark purple with pale yellow marks and the center has red tones to it with purple frilly hairs. Sowing :? Sow in trays, pots, etc of good seed compost in a propagator or warm place to maintain an optimum temperature of 20-25C.? Cover with peat or sand. Locality : Ex Hort. Date of harvest : December 2013
