Senecio polyanthemoides. It is a bushy annual herb of about 1.8 m height with a woody stem at the base. The leaves (15 x 4 cm) are lanceolate, petiole-like and pinnately divided with smooth and thinly white-felted upper and lower surfaces respectively. Sowing: Sow seeds in autumn in a well drained medium. Locality: Hermanus. Harvest: May 2023
