Stapelia kwebensis (Asclepiadaceae) The stems are bright green, short-toothed with erect, prominent rudimentary leaves. Flowers are small, carried on short pedicels near the apex or in the middle of the stem and vary in coloration from yellow-ish to green to brown or dark red. Sowing : Seed should be sown in spring or during summer, in a well-drained seedling mix, and need only be covered lightly with the sowing mix, clean coarse sand or milled bark to stop it from blowing away.
