Tromotriche revoluta.
Family: Asclepiadaceae
It is a rhizomatous succulent with more or less square, toothed stems that readily offsets to form a sparingly branched shrub to 30 cm tall. It has dispensed with leaves entirely and relies on its stems for photosynthesis. The characteristic flowers with revolute (rolled backward or downward) lobes are pale maroon to purple-brown with lime-green central markings but quite variable in colour and patterns.
