Tulbaghia alliaceae (100 seeds)

Tulbaghia alliaceae (Alliaceae) Bulbous geophyte up to 30cm, strongly aromatic. Leaves absent or emergent at flowering, flowers 6-10 on pedicels up to 20mm long, brownish to green with an orange corona, scented of coconut and honey at night. Sowing : Seed should be sown in a well-drained seedling mix, and need only be covered lightly with the sowing mix, clean coarse sand or milled bark to stop it from blowing away. The trays should be kept moist in a warm but shaded position. Locality: Haarlem.  Harvest: August 2019
