Uvaria lucida. Scrambling shrub or liane, rarely a small tree. Bark grey, smooth, with lenticels; young branchlets with short rusty hairs, hairless when older. Leaves elliptic-oblong to oblanceolate, up to c. 12 × 6 cm, leathery, greyish-green and hairless above, brighter green below, sometimes with a few hairs along the prominent veins on both surfaces; margin entire. Flowers in 1-3-flowered terminal or leaf-opposed clusters, yellowish-green or dull green. Sowing : Sow seeds in summer in a well drained medium. Locality: Kosi Bay. Harvest: June 2020
