It is a small to medium sized tree with a bushy, rounded to broadly conical growth habit with branches growing close to the ground. It is fast growing and can reach a height of 10m. It has beautiful, sweetly scented, pea-shaped flowers in dense terminal sprays which appear in spring to early summer.

Sowing instructions: Sow seeds in summer. Place in hot water (90c) and allow to cool down and soak for 12 hours before planting.
