Zaluzianskya villosa (pink/purple) Branched annual with hairs bending backwards. Leaves narrow, hairy, about 3.5cm long; flowers are white or lilac, often yellow-eyed with a purple reverse, have five deeply notched petals; only 2 stamens; flowers crowded at ends of branches and flower tube 10-25mm long. Sowing: Seed should be sown in spring or during summer, in a well-drained seedling mix, and need only be covered lightly with the sowing mix, clean coarse sand or milled bark. The trays should be kept moist in a warm but shaded position. Locality: Ex Hort. Harvest: December 2023
