Zantedeschia albomaculata (live bulb)
Family: Araceae
Common names: Arrow-leaved Arum, Klein Varkoor
Hardy, deciduous bulbous Arum bears arrow-shaped leaves that are with or without spots. The white, pale yellow to pinkish flowers mostly have a deep purple blotch at the inside base and are borne on tall stems in late summer. The flowers turn green as they age. They occur naturally in marshy or rocky grasslands but also do well in normal garden conditions. Plant in compost rich soil in full sun or light shade. Used medicinally.
