Zanthoxylum davyi. Tree 8-30 m; bark light grey on young trees, later dark brown, with conspicuous woody horn-like knobs with short hard spiny tips; branches with slightly upwards recurved spines; leaves 8-30 cm long, rhachis prickly. Sowing : Sow seeds in summer in a well drained medium. Locality: Ex Hort. Harvest: November 2021
